vectra b sri

1.8 or 2.0 litre
what ye reckon ?????
Well the first it a Cav 4x4 Turbo (I'm choking with Drool!!!) And the second is Nice but 1 word, ECOTEC!! And they're not good!!
At this stage of the day the Cavs are getting Scarce and arent gonna loose anymore value than they have, Vectras, although all pretty much Rust Proof have Ecotec engines and this ruins them.
Call me biased, But I've owned both and would have an A anyday!!

I want that Turbo
As far as the A vs B thing goes Jim - it all comes down to how well they they have been looked after! I have seen cases where an A can be in far better condition than a facelift B!

I would prefer the A myself, especially one with 5 stud wheels like that:cool

I ran both of these from the start to mid 90's ,2.0 CD Cavaliers and a 2.0 CDX Vectra, all bought new ( Company cars )
The Cavaliers ( A ) were nicer to live with and drive but the Vectra B looks nicer I think, especially with a few subtle body mods .
I did over 100 K miles in both types and found the Vectra B seats the most uncomfortably hard seats I've ever sat on.
I think rust is the problem with the cavalier / A and looking on this site it would seem to be .

Have a look at some of the gallery cars for inspiration.
Me ? I'd still go for the Vectra B estate in either SRI 130 guise or better GSI and the prices in UK mainland are peanuts.
Luvvvelly......

That will be the mixture of drugs and alcohol then
LOL, I doubt very much he'd sell the Mk2 cuz of what it is, what it means to him and the fact that there isnt another other Mk2 Cav Turbo Automatic anywhere!! We took it to Billing a few years back and with the ****ed up Gearing we got 160mph from it.

You are not the only one
I have had mine for years - The plan was to sell it when it was 4 years old - still have not got around to it
