Hi....some of you may know i uploaded some pics of my current project which is a Starlet which i'am reshelling as a GT. I'am really confused at the min about the fueling side of things, my Starlet which is a EP80 and left the factory in 1990 with a 1E carb engine which is now gone, i'am replacing the fuel tank and fuel pump with a GT one as the 1E's fuel pump was installed in the engine bay ? so will i have to install extra copper fuel lines from the tank up to the engine bay????? how will i do this ??????? can these be installed in the excisting brake/fuel line tray which is fixed to the undercarriage ??? any help on this would be grateful as i'am in real stook just now.

Ok, I dont have a clue about Toyotas but if you're getting a GT Tank and pump, try and get the fuel lines as well. They should run pretty much the same as the Carb lines, in fact its possible the Carb fuel lines will do your trick.

Carb fuel lines are generally smaller but yeah id have said you would just run them in the same place as the carb ones went just in 8mm instead.

Im sure there are some Glanza/starlet forums out there wherer people would have a better idea

Thanks a lot fellas so i just replace the carb lines with GT/Glanza lines. I had a look at the set up i already have and there is two pipes at the tank one which goes from there up to engine bay and the other i think is a breather pipe ????

Replace them with 8mm copper lines mate its fairly easy. It could run 3 lines though (supply, return and breather) I dont really know mate its a toyota not an opel

If you dont mind me asking why are you bothering to reshell this as a GT Turbo? Parts are scarce as singles, but if you buy a complete car, you have an original and alot less hassle. I bought this one 2 weeks ago for £800 needing a turbo.
