On the look out for at least two Range Rovers for up coming projects
Need to be over 30 year old or as near as possible or ROI registered and cheap as scrap , condition does not matter at all , dont even have to be complete as long as they have tax books and chassis plates

An 87 vogue in a sort of dark wine colour. Beige cloth interior, the 3 spoke alloys and a 3.5efi.
Its got bull bars too

Haven't got any pics at the moment (its down the back of the workshop) and ive no idea on the price. I never really thought about selling it TBH

To be honest its too new for what I am after , tax kills it , rolling chassis is the ideal as the bodies are of no importance for what I have in mind

Ok, the one he had in the garage has just been sold. But he has another, its a 1980 so just one more year to go for classic insurance, tax ect. He is looking for 600 euro. Let me know if you would like to have a look, I could try and organise pics for you. Said its fair but not in great condition.

Now looking for parts for a classic range Rover that is coming of age in 2 months
Need a pair of front wings , grille , headlights , pair front doors from a 4 door , windscreen , condition , colour dont matter , gotta be better than mine

For this baby , will be 30 yr old in a couple of months , if I can get the parts cheap enough then she will go back on the road

The reg goes with the chassis so would it not just be easier to buy a complete late one and swap the body over.

A friend of mine crashed his 1995 defender bending the chassis. He bought a new one from land rover and swapped everything over only to be told by the tax office that he had to reregister it. Now its a 04 plate!

Like to see you take the body of this one , only way is a gas axe , only original part of the body is the front end , sills are 3x2 box section with rock sliders welded to them and a chequre plate floor and roll cage all welded to that and solid mounted to the chassis , which has 10 inch cut out of the middle , rad and tank is rear mounted , only reason need to change the wings as some of the damage has sharp edges , To get her road legal again is screen , lights and mirrors

Now on the look out for a Range Rover or Discovery rolling chassis for another idea , dont matter if its got rot as long as its repairable and cheap , dont need engine or box , just chassis , front turrets and bare axles , got a donor car but dont want to strip it until know if my idea will work

For what I want its not suitable , need a earlier chassis not the BMW X5 chassis , apart from that it is dear , can pick that sort of thing up through salvage mates for a lot less , but yes the 4.6 would be nice as cheap to run as the ****ty diesel

Plonk a GT shell on top of the chassis would be sweet
